The new AD sounds like a winner, but I'm sure it will take a little while. The story I read on KentuckySportsRadio talked about cash in McDonald's bags? If that's so they must have been pretty desperate.

!998 is a long time ago in SEC football talk.

Alabama w/6 NCAA Football Championships in that time period

LSU w/2

The weak sister tag gotta be wearing on them bad.

That's for sure. Kentucky beat the Vols in Knoxville this year 34-7, that was the first time Kentucky had won in Knoxville since 1984. And Vandy had beaten the Vols 3 times in a row just a few years ago. Losing to Florida, Georgia, ever now and then is acceptable for a Vol Fan, but Ky/Vandy is a definite no-no. I think Pruitt even fired his DL coach at halftime of the Kentucky game. You just don't do something like that, I'm sure it cost him a lot of respect in the coaching world.

Tennessee has got a lot of tradition and the fans expect a lot, but I'm sure it will take at least 3- 5 years to get it going again.
