Wow,
kick maybe you can answer this question.
I'm, watching some pre-Wimbledon tennis today.
Andreev, Verdasco, Youzhny, Robredo, Gicquel, Kuznetsova, Jankovic, Zvonareva, Cibulkova all ranked high....all go down today without a fight !
:scared :scared :scared :scared
I'm coming from the boxing world, so forgive my naivitae....but I just watched Verdasco completely tank it. It was a total joke.
Do most of these players just lose on purpose to get the rest before the BIG tourneys? It seems pretty remarkable that literally EVERY ranked player lost today.
I remember a year ago, Duford did a piece on REAL SPORT on HBO about fixing matches in tennis. I don't really think "fix" is the right description for today, but there is no question in my mind some of these players were half-assing it. Does this happen all the time?
If you bet every dog on the board last night, you could retire rich today!
