Better than being a sissy boy worked by Wawrinka. I swear that POS Milos has nothing upstairs. Complete mutt. Will never win anything of substance because he's the weakest mental player on tour. He's the John Isner of Canada. Impressive serve and nothing else. Since the San Jose Open disbanded has Raonic ever hoisted a trophy? Certainly not the 5 that Gulbis has hoisted in the last calendar year. Has Raonic ever made the semis at the French where real tennis is played? Nope, no to that as well. Gulbis is following the script and throwing matches to his best friend and traveling partner Thiem on tour. It's all leading up to the French where his focus has been all year to take down the title and the French Open, the most prestigious trophy in all of Sports.

i knew bdb's ears would be ringing when talk of Gulbis and Donald Young broke out in the Off The Wall forum:SIB

Young is probably the best American right now if you're really interested in how bad American tennis is these days.

It's probably never been worse for American tennis in their history. It's pathetic. A bunch of hacks that couldn't even carry Gulbis' bag.

Tell me someone who's better?

That's how bad USA tennis is. Isner, lol. Querry another joke. Sock, maybe in 5 years. The whole USA program is a disaster. No one has a bigger upside than Young and that upside is so small it makes American tennis a shame. They shouldn't be involved in Davis Cup. They should be relegated to world league.

the line on Fognini seems really low, esp considering he dusted his opponent Andujar in straights both times these 2 played - $$ coming in on Andujar as well, interesting....

Maybe Young is that good. Maybe he can reach the Finals at Roland Garros and give Gulbis a match.

Fognini is a nut case and a quitter if things aren't going his way. I always stay away from him but good luck if you play it.

contrarian in me was referring to the other side - fognini was lucky as shit to escape 1st round, was down a set and 6-3 in 2nd set tiebreak - looks to me like they are begging for $ on the fave

Speaking of Gulbis, price was low on him today too - looked like another potential setup

I am admittedly (and obviously) not an expert on tennis betting, but many of the same principles that apply in other sports fit the bill for tennis as well - i normally start to get a little bit of a feel for things in the 2nd week of majors (simply bc i am paying attn), but i am thinking about starting to monitor things a little more closely outside of the majors - as my gambling career has worn on i find myself enjoying betting on sports like tennis and golf more than the team sports

oh well, long rambling post with little to no useful information

gl all - burns

Just do the opposite of what Bleed does.......I find that works very well.

just good to have some chatter in here -

Matosevic seems to enjoy Delray Beach as he reached finals in 2012 (while beating Gulbis along the way) - playing against qualifier off his 1st atp tour win
