YTD Record: 0-0 (For tennis I will use units this season, as the odds do not lend well to * plays)
Brisbane:
A.Dolgopolov +5 games (-110) over R.Nadal (2 Units)
Dolgopolov has actually outright won the last 2 meetings (beyond last year's withdrawal), both in 3 sets. Both mens best surface is clay, but this should be a good early season battle.
N.Mahut -2.5 games (-115) over S.Robert (2 Units)
Robert has been a career low level player with a poor record on the big tour and few notable wins to his credit. Mahut has been pretty solid and had some nice wins in 2016 against the top 30 players. Mahut usually starts the season good and should put Robert down in straights here.
Chennai
D.Lajovic -3.5 games (-120) over R.Silva (3 Units)
In their only meeting, Lajovic won on clay by 6 games. Silva did not even play a match on hardcourt last year, while Lajovic has a few impressive wins on hard vs. Tomic and Almagro and took Paire to 5 sets at the US Open. These two players are close in ranking, but not in talent.
Doha
I.Karlovic/I.Marchenko OVER 23.5 games (-125) 4 Units
In their only matchup in 2015, it was a 3 set battle with the first 2 sets going to tiebreaker. I expect the same type of match here, as Karlovic still has a tremendous serve but very little return game. Marchenko has talent, so it would not be a bad bet for him to win outright, but feel more comfortable with betting the match to go over this total instead.
Ill try to add a few women's plays later on.
