Who would have thunk it? Terrell calls me the night before the Florida game and 15 hours later he's a NCAA Tournament hero. I got a hold of Terrell Friday night about four hours after the game, as you might expect, he's delerious with joy right now. Still, he made a point to say that the team isn't satisfied. Yes, they're extremely happy. But more importantly, they have confidence that they can play with anyone. And I know Dana Altman surely isn't satisfied. I mean the guy never even smiles. No wonder Terrell can't along with him. Creighton is getting 10 points in this game, and I think that's too much for a couple of reasons. 1. I don't think Illinois is all that good. They had enough talent to win the Big 10 by three games and settled for a four-way tie. Last year's team was much better. 2. I think Creighton will play very well. Don't expect them to be too tired, after all, half the guys fouled out in the Florida game. Terrell has always been a streaky player, even going back to high school, and he's hot right now. Plus, I think Korver will pick up where he left off in the second half with his touch. The pressure is off Creighton right now, so I expect a loose and fearless team that will stay within the number in the closing minutes. And if they stay real close, who knows, I might have another report for the Sweet 16.
