I was just speaking to a lady I did some business with last week. She said she ordered the model S about 5 months ago and absolutely loves it. She didn't tell me how much she paid, but that she did have to wait about a year for them to build it after she put in the order. I don't know about other states, but in CA they give a $2,000 tax credit to anyone who buys a fully electric car and she said that pretty much covered the cost of the charging unit that had to be installed in her garage (something you obviously have consider). The other thing you have to think about is where your live, how far you drive to work and are there other charging stations in or around your city. The lady told me that she gets around 300 miles to the charge, so that should cover pretty much anyone on a daily commute. We have a lot of charging stations and parking meters where you can charge up around LA, so electric cars are popular around here, of course.
So far, I've heard nothing but good things about the new Teslas and they are great-looking cars. I'm excited for you if you decide to get one :0074
