Texas St -10 over TAM Corpus ***
Tx St is 3-3 and just lost at home to are you ready for this... Our lady of the lake". I hope there is no disrespect for anyone out there who went to Our Lady of the Lake but how the hell did they beat Tex St the other nite 61-58. I know the " Ladies of the Lake " in kayaking are 4-0 ats but in hoops. Tex St is now 3-3 .Tex St has been beaten by Texas who I think had 12 slam dunks vs them. Bobcats can play defense but missing Pearson has been there problem. Harrell the 5'8 pt gd leads in scoring and that is not good news Sule inside cannot go against the Texas and Miss St 's front line but can play vs the Incarnate Words,Mary Hardins,etc TX St lost to Texas and Miss St 68-51 and 74-53. So there offense is suspect But vs Incarnate and Mary and TAM Corpus they scored 98,72 and already beat TAM corpus 75-63 at Corpus. Tex St already beat away Tex Corpus 75-63. At the half it was a 2 pt game But Ashburry came off the bench and hit 4 tre's . Corpus likes the 3's and were 7-27 in that game Last yr they hit over 240 tre's. { somebody needs to check that stat out} TX state does play solid man- man except when playing the big boys or any ladies on the lake. Tex already beat this team by 12 away and now tonite have them at home. I hate giving the Bobcats 10 pts at home but maybe losing to those bitches from the lake will wake them up. My bad.. please disregard the last sentence. Those ladies not B 's . Tx St is a streaky team with an avd front line. Although there is no crowd think they can win this by double digits .. I am attending but they took the bleachers behind both benches away do the the C-19. No longer can I hear and peek in the huddles of the teams and make my " live wagering plays that I'm 0-34 in.
Asburry is not coming off the bench and nailing 3's but think if Corpus keeps taking them, away in a unfamiliar gym shooting 7-27 might be good for them. Again tight game but think Bobcats pull away in the 2nd half and get a rare double digit win at home.
