Before every game I handicapped I never look or peek at the line. I come up with my own line . Then I see the line from Vegas and make my decisions If I feel the line is off by 2 or more pts then I will play it according to me capping system. I am not retired on a beach in the Caymons so I'm off many many times and my system like many many others has holes in it. Last night since I have season tickets to Texas Longhorns and Texas St follow both teams very close Texas is ranked No 2 in the country and they have gds that are outstanding and a coach who teaches pressure defense . I heard on the radio this morning they have 141 pts on turnovers and only given up 37 points on there own turnovers . That is an amazing stat even though they have played a few cupcake teams.
Texas has Hunter who is one of the best gds in the country Carr his partner is amazing and Rice from New Mex St is a deadeye shooter. All 3 play pressure defense . They have 6'8 freshman Mitchell who is explosive and is a dunk alley opp player always above the rim These guys destroyed Zaga and they have Timme inside who didn't hurt them. And the reason why is because the Tex gds never allowed a clean entry pass into to Timme. Well tonight Creighton has a 7'1 center in Kalkbrenner who was the Def POY of the BE last year but can score. If Texas gds can do the same thing they did last week to Timme they Texas can win and cover But Crei has McDermott one of the best coaches who watched what Texas did to Timme and I;m sure he has worked on entry passes all week .
Beard is a solid coach and knows Creighton has the kid from SDakota that has range from the football stadium across the street. Both teams avg around 80 pts a game . To me Texas's only weakness is their front court Disu Allen are solid but they don't have the depth. To beat Texas if you have a big front line,an air craft carrier inside and if you double the Carrier have shooters waiting in the wings you could be in trouble
My line after all this BS was Texas -5 or -6. And this morning the line was Texas -6.5 So because that half pt I am taking Creighton +6.5 ** small play
Moody gym has improved, Beard has put the students closer to the court to get more of that home court advantage but Creighton has played in many tougher places in the BE I am going to the game and although my seat is pretty far up there don't think I can sneak up to a courtside seat or next to Doglover and his wife who has closer seats to the court . Small play and hate going against Texas and think they will win but not cover
Lamar +12,5 over Texas St **
Tex St is much better but giving them double digits to even a Lamar team that isn't very good is a lot of points Harrell is a play maker and top scorer. Stop him or slow down this 5'8 kid and Cards can cover and make it close.

Jaspers just beat Army by a few and lost to VCU,FDU and Northeastern They beat Mt St Vincent 86-39 and I think St Vincent players are all becoming Catholic priests Should pass on a game like this but that beachfront property is looking better and better.
