I think Texas wins pretty easily. Ok St beat up pretty badly by the Sooners last week. Not very good at O/U. Look and see if Haekeye posts anything on it.
Horns winning by more than 20 last couple trips to Stillwater, There will be a number of HornFans in attendance, I am also all over my Horns in this one.
Even though it won't be raining at gametime, starting at 8am Sat morning it will be raining till about 4pm. Gametime temp will be around 45. I see the game going under myself.
texas hasn`t played a real road game yet.....rice...iowa st.....baylor......all their difficult games have at home.....
okie st has covered 8 of the last 10 at home....and texas` defense can be had...they`ve allowed 15 rushing td`s this year compared to 8 all of last year.....
qb young has been an inconsistent passer....
i tend to throw out games vs oklahoma....they are just head and shoulders above the crowd this year....i think this line is an over reaction to the oklahoma loss..
okie st coaching edge...imo
just a counterpoint....throwing a little balnce into the analysis...g.l.
Rama, I saw an article at the beginning of the week that said TX has never lost to Oklahoma and OK St both in the same year. I don't know if UT Longhorn can confirm this and I don't know if this might give a little more confidence to your play but d*mn it scary betting on Mack Brown just like Tommy Tubberville. You never know how these teams are going to play.
Texas is on thier game and will cover this spread. OSU is beat up and also have lost the confidence they had. They really ARE a poor team. After big win over Nebraska, Texas goes in with confidence and the better team. OSU only holds 45,000 and they will get confused on who to chear for since they are both in orange.
please let me know the off the board play because my local is a dumbass and i've one mucho $$$ on off the board plays because local doesn't know that its off the board or why.
I think the number is too high. Texas matches up well defensively against teams that play a pro-style offense and run out of the I formation. They suck against teams that run draws, reverses and misdirections out of a one back or spread formation. OSU runs a pro-style, I formation offense.
Texas offense now is about 80% run with Vince Young at the helm. The Nebraksa-Texas game was one of the fastest games I have ever been to because the clock was constantly running.
I can't see either team putting up more than 30 points. Last year was a low scoring game and Texas had a quicker strike offense. OSUs offense is about the same as last year. I think it will be a closely contested game and would slightly lean toward the Pokes at home.
texas is not as talented as oklahoma, nor will they have the emotional def presence we witnessed last week. however, tex is better than ok st. i expect them to cover the spread.
Hey Salty Dog, why don't you and your 30 posts kiss my A$$ and while you are doing that look at my Big 12 record. Once you have been on this forum for 3-4 years, then you can make that comment. Until then, F*CK OFF !:thefinger :moon: :thefinger :moon: :thefinger
