Have a happy new year to everyone going to the Tx St game this afternoon Was at game last year where Tex St won by 5 But that was the game Ashberry had a career night with 26 points . He is gone and Tex St has to rely on Harrell. At the UL Monroe game the other night a team was sitting a few rows across from me . I thought it was a local hs watching Tex St play. But when the game was over they were big and looking a lot older then a HS team. I now realizes it was Troy watching the UL Monroe-Texas game. I;m sure the Troy coach had to watch how UL shut down Harrell .. Think the same this afternoon . again no home crowd or fans today in San Marcus
Like those Texas gds a lot. Think they will negate any home court advantage OU has, Texas only weakness is in the paint and think OU is ok inside but won't be dominate . Beard is not coaching and again in my opinion will never coach at Texas again.

Hilltop so much talk behind the scenes. Talk radio and newspapers aren't really saying either way. His live in girlfriend is now recanting everything she said " its my fault not his and I didn't tell the police what they wrote down. A lot of "he said she said" So I think the DA is building a case and there is no time limit. Don't think Beard has a history if abuse and I'm a believer that " once you rolled thru the stop sign and got caught you have done it before. So throw my theory out now. I think he is fired because of the police report. She had bruises on her neck and I think a bite mark. The Physical evidence is there .. Her changing her story totally and now claiming she never told the police that is a " he said she said". But the physical evidence is there. I hope he is innocent but we are all just guessing what happened. Its really a shame what happened. Texas can nullify his $5 million dollar contract .. I guess we have to let the courts decide what to do. Think the grand jury will be summoned because she doesn't want to press charges now. I know I didn't answer your question but I guess we all have to wait. But for Beard to be put in that situation is really crazy Gotta run off to the Tex St game Take care happy new year
