Going to the game in a few hours. Sam left the Southland conf and joined the WAC . Tough schedule but these guys beat Utah and Oklahoma already. Lost to Ok St by 15 but they have seen better competition and are talented They have the best defensive player in the conference and if he guards Harrell , Bobcats are in for a big surprise because Harrell has very little support this year esp in the paint. Sams pt gd and def wizz is Ray who is also 5'10 and May who both play great D. Think Harrell is 5'9 .. Sam has some big guys inside in Ezeagu at 6'10 Ipke and Transfer Grant from Wichita St who can score . Tex St other then Harrell has no true scorers Front line is below avg . There will be no crowd today at home. Think students left for holiday and they only draw around 200-300 fans. I have a good shot at winning the free Domino pizza box this afternoon but always give it to the family behind me. I have won it 2 times.
Sam Houston loved playing in teams that are bigger size schools. They are dangerous and well coached. Think Tex st in trouble this afternoon

But like Sam today. I will sit right behind the Sam coach and maybe give him a pointer or two ..lol Just stop Harrell and you win. And sam has a def player that can do it and Grant a juco all american via Wichta St I will let everyone know tonight if I caught a t-shirt or get that free Domino pizza.

Back from the game. Damn Sam Houston is good and has depth. Their post player Ezeagu at 6'10 was bad and teams that have good inside player post players will dominate him He had I think 2 pts and got 2 rebounds Every time they got the ball inside to him it was blocked or he lost the ball He shows the ball so is an easy target to get his shot blocked or a small gd can steal it. He needs to learn to keep the ball in tight. Sam gds got him the ball inside a few times and he lost the ball and turned it over.
I didn't win a pizza and it was Pizza Hut pizza not Dominos. No crowd at all. 4 cheerleaders,4 from the dance team and 8 band members and a crowd of maybe 200. Sam Houston had at least 100 fans today.
But Sam's Coach played not May or Ray but Powers man to man on Harrell. Took him right out of the game. He ended up with 8 points 1 assist and 1 rebound. Final score was 69-62 Sam Houston and they missed 3 front ends of 1-1 in the final minute . This team has so much depth and they play 8 guys . But Grant is the stud 5 star etc Although the box score doesn't show it he is the point gd,def player and has a handle on the ball . great passer and distributor and can break the Bobcat press by himself. Tex St played their A game despite there best player wasn't a factor Ceasar inside played great. But think every coach in the Sun should do the same what Sam did today. Harrell was harassed,pressured and had to be tired because he was hounded all game. Even made a live wager +1/2 point for Sam Houston. They were up 39-34 at half and you can see when your sitting in row 1 how the game is being played. Need to make up some of those lost ****'s from the UTSA football game yesterday
This sam Houston team impressed me a lot and I can see why they beat some of the big boys, Tex state doesn't have the frontine players and if you rely on one 5'8 gd you could be in trouble down the road.

So I didn't get a pizza today because I was in the lobby during the pizza give aways Going to watch my North Texas vs Boise St. now but I took Boise . Mad NT fired their football coach .. hopefully they get their Mean Green butts kicked .. and still mad about last years game when Bussy didn't show up to the game..
