Looks like there is money to be made betting against the Tex Tech this year. They made a small time running back from SMU look like Earl Campbell, they cannot score inside the 20 yard line, and there is no running game.

The lack of being able to recruit Big 12 caliber players comes home to roost this year in Lubbock. Unless one can get a ton of points, fade the Raiders this year.

Y'all should have kept Dykes. His teams were up-and-down, but predictable. I made more money off that guy -- take North Texas +30 one week, then take Tech plus the points against UT the next. I sure miss ol' Spike.

If Texas Tech's run defense is as bad as you say Ole Miss may be a good play. Williams, McClendon, and Pearson are all good backs and we have a good o-line. If Eli gets on track our offense should put up points on anybody. We should be ready for Texas Tech as we just played Memphis who runs a similar spread offense with 4 and 5 WR's.

Just a little guessing here, but if you are going to take Ole Miss, the play should probably be made earlier this week rather than later. Last week the Tech v SMU line opened at (I believe) Tech -17. By game time time it was at -22. Those that back the Red Raiders won't be back this week.

That being said, Traditionally, Tech has been pretty good ATS at home. (Except North Texas) I haven't looked it up and maybe I'm thinking of Tech as a home underdog, but regardless, this team does have some talented players on it. Blowout loss to Ohio St and a scary 10 pin win against SMU should put a fire underneath the Red Raiders in their 1st Home Game of the season.

I hope it's a good game. I saw ol miss is avg 180+ on the ground a game and that could be trouble.
