@kbohls: A source close to the Texas Tech program says QB Michael Brewer has a stress fracture of a vertabrae and likely will miss several weeks.

Not sure what to think on Tech for the opener. Brewer had everyone excited because of how good he looked. He looked good enough last year(redshirt year) that he ran off 2 4* QBs that were older than him.

Now it looks like a walk on true frosh QB might start. The only thing you can look at is Kingsbury and his history with QBs. He's done well and that includes the backup for Houston when Keenum went down.

The great thing about the Air Raid offense is that it's very simple.
