Texas Tech

2-0 on my 5 unit plays this year. First was on Tech vs Smu and then Colts yesterday. This game will cash and I might even take a shot on the ml later in the week.


Texas Tech +6.5 5units

Tech has been up and down this year but if you know anything about Tech there are 2 games that you can absolutely count on getting everything out of them. A&M and Texas are the two teams that no matter what is going on they will prepare and play hard for. The best thing that could have happened going into this game happened when Texas made the comeback they did. If they would have lost I wouldn't be as confident but they are coming into this game after several games of having to make comebacks. I see Tech getting out to an early lead and Texas making the comeback again but I don't think they'll touch the spread. Tech basically had an off week this last week(Baylor is practice to most teams aren't they) so they should come in to this game fresh and ready to go.

This is a good play wood. Only thing that scares
me is Texas is 13-1 since '93 in home finales.
Longhorns came back LY from 21 points down to
beat TT 35-31. They pulled that crap LW at OSU,
don't know if this Texas team can keep up this
week point for point with TT. Should also be a
high scoring game. The last 5 years these two
have averaged 74 ppg (66 the lowest score).
Texas may be near out of gas and don't look to
be their selves TY. I like Tech in this one.

Last yr they played at TT and coverd as 10 pt dogs, two years ago at Texas they lost as 16.5 dogs 52-17. So playing at Texas this yr as only 6.5 dogs, just not sure about the side yet, but leaning to your play wood.

Think the bigger play might be the OVER as kramer pointed out the scoring avg of the 2 teams.

The last 5 years the game has gone over easily except for 2005 when it made it by just 1 pt.

But 5 years in a row makes the over look good also.
