He's been suspended since it occurred. Apparently, there's more to the story than has been reported. Patterson's comments today were pretty heated against the media's reporting.

Can't kick a man when he's down. That was a crazy game just like TCU-Baylor last year. Hopefully, Mahomes is ok this week to play as well as he did against TCU.
