Excited going to the game tonight
Texas -19.5 over Tx Bobcats ***
1st half Texas -11 ****
Texas St total
Texas has dominated this series winning the last 27 times they played this game. Both teams play with a slow pace but Texas is loaded with talent and depth. They just beat Wyoming 86-63 but did lose to Uconn by 10 and just beat Louisville by 1. Meanwhile Tx St lost to Ark LR by 5,Oklahoma by 30,McNesse St by by 11, and So Utah by by 7. Texas St has 6'9 Love inside who has to be the most improved player from last year. He has a nice turn around lefty post Jump shot and has been there big rim protector inside. Freshman Gumb although cannot replace last years Harrell has done a decent job at the gd position But last yr they ranked in the 300's in shooting the 3. And Mason handled the ball 99% of the time. They also lost Martin there top rebounder.
Texas has transfer 6'11 Sedrick inside who is a talented post player on defense and offense. Disu is hurt and not sure if he is available tonight. But Texas has Horton Hunter and ORU transfer Abmas who last year led the nation in scoring. He can shoot drive with the best of them. Texas has 5 players that avg double digits and all 5 have once at least scored over 18 pts. . They moved to Moody and the home crowd is more conducive to a home court and think they are 4-0 at home. I have season tickets and follow Tx St . But think tonite they are in trouble Tx St played OU and lost by 30 Texas does play solid defense and can't see Bobcats scoring . Think Texas will run more and can't see Tx Post D vs Shedrick and co. Mitchell is a soph at 6'8 and should be the the next superstar for the Longhorns . Think Bobcats had big time problems trying to stop OU. Think same problem tonite.
Played 1st half -11 and Texas St total pts ***
Looking forward to being at the game tonite. This is Tex St's biggest game of the year and only a 25 minute drive up the Interstate but in the past Texas is taking them seriously and think with there dept and talent win big
