hi guys... hope you're all healthy and reasonably happy!
This thread is totally self-indulgent on my part, so be forewarned
after a frustratingly terrible Thurs night / Friday, I was down big... I'd made & lost my 3 biggest straight plays (SD St, Ohio St OV, Ucla Un) and the parlays they were tied into!
NOne of em were even close!
needless to say, had me questioning myself, my style of plays, don't seem to have luck when I post my plays... all that crap running thru my head, etc
So Saturday I backed off the "big" straight plays, managed to hit a big 3 tmr (Wisc/Wisc OV/USC -5.5), and 1 straight play on USC.. got bk about 60%..
Then I knew I was golfing today, so last night (Sat) I put in 3 more parlays... and made 4 straight plays for $100 each... ('Nova ml, Rutgers+, Ark+, Oral Bob+), and 1 play for $300 (Ore St OVER)..
Then, I went and drove to golf at Monarch Beach (Dana Point, CA)... was a GORGEOUS Day!
I played the best I've played in a longg time in a tourney... made 2 birdies.. won the front side net 31 (39 gross), got 1 closest to the pin, and split the Par 3 pot w/another guy (shoot even par or better (gross) on all the par 3s...
and get this....
there are 5 par 3s, on 3 of em I stuck it 8'2", 3'2", and 6'6".... the only "closest" I won was the 8footer...
I birdied 2 of em, and missed the 6ft putt that would've won me the entire par 3 pot... Pepe Le Choko!!
2 birds, 2 bogeys (inc 1 3putt), and a par...
ok... bk to ncaabk!
