Needing 4 pts for the 2H over in the USC/Cal game, and with 30 sec remaining, Cal has the ball and can just hold onto to it and run out the clock. Instead, they make a 2 pt shot, USC gets the ball back with 11 sec left, goes downcourt and misses a 3-pointer, gets the rebound in the corner and makes a 3 with less than a second remaining.
