I blame some of that on Lealand too......1 out, why not walk him and set up the double play....also leave in Zumaya!!
well i am still steaming over the dodgers last week. 5-0 heading into the 9th and poof tie game then loss. i hate relieve pitching. it is so freakin horrendous and these guys get major jack to close games out. i refuse to bet on the mets as long as billy wagner is the closer. he has burnt me so many dam times i lost count 5 years ago. if i ever meet this tool in person i swear i will punch him. **** relieve pitchers.
Being a Reds fan, I know a thing or two about bad closers (Danny Graves).......Anymore, I don't feel confident unless the team I'm on is up by 6 or more going into the 9th. Even if someone does close out a tight game, they usually make you sweat your nuts off before they get the final out.......very painful to watch.

It won't be long until Fernando Rodney will be closing Tiger games. Not that helps you now, but I too went down with this clown!.......Rodney did well when Jones was on the DL earlier, and Leyland being old school, won't have a guy lose his job due to injury.......BUT now that he has blown one, he will be on a short leash with Rodney waiting in th ewings and having Zumaya to set him up.
