Guys,

I would just personally like to thank each and everyone of you that is in the contest, along with Madjack, and Skip Allan and Gameday Sports.

I am sorry but I have to leave my position as Contest Updater.... My real time job has been to much of a stress for me and have had trouble getting the contest updates in.

So it was in Skip's, mine, and Madjacks best interest to go another route. And frankly I think it is the best decision it was very hard for me to do both jobs day in and day out. But I just wanted to say thanks to everyone and hopefully we will all be in contact because I am an active poster here at Madjacks still....

I don't know what there plans are yet but something will be posted shortly I presume.

Please stop in and drop me a note in this thread. And once again I am sorry I let you guys down, it was fun though. And hopefully the successor will have a blast too.

I am
Sincerely,
Seth Allen Frank

Best Regards,

Well LP7SLIP,

Thanks for all your hard work and efforts. I didn't think a person with a real job could do what you was doing. LOL...hell I don't think I could do as much as you was doing on my real job...but anyways.. Thanks again for your time and efforts you put into this contest. It was a job well done. I know I couldn't have done it.

Can't blame you Slip. This is a tough contest to administer. Season long everyday calculations of 100 posts.

Seems like these contests work better on a weekly or monthly basis.

Thanks for all your hard work!

Nice job Slip. Dunno how you went as long as you did. Maybe we can invite sportsfanaticausa back and he could keep stats as he said he capped 15 hours of the day in his parents basement

having run a couple of contests myself, but only on sundays, i had a notion you had your hands full with a daily one.

this is almost a full time job, and maybe it is, being 7 days a week.

i suggest to the sports books, jack and co. that they look into an automated system if they want to conduct daily contests, or even sunday ones, if the amount of people is too large.

i participated in one in a vegas newspaper, i forgot the name now, and it was strictly computer interaction. you made your picks, it would cut off at a certain time on sundays and then post the results a day or two later. probably the only human involvement was checking out any glitches afterward each sunday of picks.

now, what are you going to do with all that free time?

One heck of a job handling such a huge task.
I had started to volunteer to attempt what you did, but I just didn't think it was going to be possible. I want to commend you on the effort you put forth and completley understand.

If I can assist you guys in some way, just let me know. If it is possible, I will try.
