Need to solve by 10:00pm eastern
I wish I had this every night. I have a 5 team Parlay based off the fine info I read here today.
5 Team PARLAY
20.00 wagered to win 145.95 at 3/13/2003 6:41:42 PM
Odds : 7.30 to 1

NHL ML-BOSTON to Win Even(+110)
ML-NEW JERSEY 3 ML-BOSTON 4
status : WIN
NHL ML-OTTAWA to Win Even(-200)
ML-NY RANGERS 2 ML-OTTAWA 3
status : WIN
NHL ML-PHILADELPHIA to Win Even(-320)
ML-CAROLINA 3 ML-PHILADELPHIA 5
status : WIN
NHL ML-COLORADO to Win Even(-240)
ML-COLORADO 5 ML-COLUMBUS 1
status : WIN
NHL ML-ANAHEIM to Win Even(-240)
ML-SAN JOSE vs ML-ANAHEIM

I am thinking I should play $40 at +200 for San Jose and walk away with no less than $80, 4 units to me.
Or I could go puck line which is +150, risk $50 and walk away with no less than $75 and a tie would be $75 plus keep the parlay alive? Or does it.

So question is, what if the game is a tie, do I lose the parlay or does it go back to 4 teamer, and how do I calculate a payout?

Thanks again to you all.

If it ties it would go down to a 4tm parlay and pay out 4.857 to 1.......

Not too sure what I would do.... good thing for you is that Chenks and Sam are both on Anaheim... so thats a good sign!

TAZ, FWIW......

Fletcher gave me this advise a couple of yrs back in football forum: "Always take the free money". Ended up saving my ass about $500 because the huge dog won outright. So I would definitely hedge your bet. If you hedge, taking the puckline sounds good, since a tie pays you both ways.

JMHO:shrug: , Good luck in which ever way you go:D.

personally If I were to hedge I would bet 20 on the Sharks PL - worst case you make a couple of bucks if Sharks win- But I think they have given up for the year- Ducks should eat them alive tonight:D

Thank you both very much for the reply. I have come to enjoy my daily visit to the corner of the forum. I too remember Fletcher giving the advice (probably more than once) take free money.

Took San Jose +0.5 for +148 for $60

Anaheim win = $66 ~3.3 units
San Jose win = $69 ~3.3 units
Tie = $185 ~9.25 units

Again my thanks :D
