No more outright bets for me
Hanson misses a birdie at the last by inches for a share of 5th for the second week in a row (this time at 125/1), and in Reno I hedge on Kelly and Molder and the former trebles the 16th and allows Cook the win with an 8 under!!!!!!
I will stick to match bets - at least I can hit 60%+ thanks to Simon Bolds unique lines!
Yours - mightily pissed off!!!

Hang tough Ian. There are times ole Murph appears to throw a saddle on us and ride for weeks at a time.Bottom line is in your mind you know you made the correct play.

DTB said it all - you'd done all the good work; sometimes fate deals you a number of bad hands in a row.

I was looking to hang up the boots after an 0-6 Fri nite; thinking I was truly wasting a lot of time that could be spent on other things while avoiding that sort of mental anguish.

I ended up the long weekend 14-14 - nothing to brag about but enough to keep me sane for another week.

Am seriously looking at cutting back though in some aspects, so concentrating on matchups isn't necessarily a bad/reactionary idea - at that %, it certainly has plenty of appeal.

PS - like the Waite over Ogilvy match-up at the Air Canada this weekend - Kiwi golfers seem to go nuts in Canada; we should play every single tournament there

Anders Several years ago I had the good fortune to meet one of your Kiwi's, Craig Perks. He was playing here in Bowling Green in the Hooters Jordan tour event. He was paired with Spike McRoy whom I was caddying for(not that I was a caddy but he stayed with me and on that tour most players packed their own bag.)
He is only player I have witnessed to carry the hazard on the par 5 12th hole at Hartland Golf Course. Was about 120 out after his drive.
A quite personable young man I might add.

Have interviewed Tataurangi (standoffish at times), Campbell (usually pretty good but also moody) and Turner (tremendous; very strong intelligent mind) but never Perks or Waite. Always get the feeling Perks sees his PGA career as somewhat of a bonus as an over-achiever, so good on him.
Like I said, watch out for Kiwis in Canadian tournaments - the list of our golfing successes there is bizarre
