Can anyone forget their last game to WV.. up 19 with the ball.. shoot two 3's and miss bad, force 2 drives inside where nowhere to go.. and left your feet again.. one Longhorn catches the ball but is out of bounds. Their star freshmen Brown has zero points but there up 19 so who cares. He ended up with zero points anyway. for the game.. WV quickly passed around the ball to an wide open shooter who hit a 3.. Ramey who is having a carrier day with 28 points yells at Jones and words turn into screaming ,into shoving ,and almost into fists except players on the bench separate them .. and they are up 14 with the ball in the second half. This team has zero IQ and Shacka is there leader.. No discipline what so ever.. I said this last week Texas will be leading and then throw away the game .. there home ats record is terrible, talent wise Kansas can't compare to them. Texas already beat them in 84-59 in Allen Field House.. but when the game was over Texas players were talking " smack to KU.. Keep your mouths shut.. KU has dominated you in the past.. You hit 12-26 from the 3
and gave them a beating that KU never see's in Allen. Since texas blew them away KU has awoken somewhat. It was Selfs worst loss at home since he got there. Texas at home has lost to Tex Tech,OU,Baylor and WV the other day.. A combination of reasons why with the talent they have an 100% of last years back. KU has one 6'10 player in McCormick. But he has to go against Simms,K Jones,Heppa,Brown, Lidell all over 6'8.. When texas won after the game they were talking smack to thr KU players.. I know they were happy finally beat a team that for years kicked your ass.. but celebrate it in the locker room .. I guarantee Self and his players will remember that and tonight come out smoking. Texas has much more talent player for player but basketball IQ and coaching will determine the winner.. With the fight on the bench and Huggy Bear going to a 2-1-2 zone threw off the Longhorns. . They have to be devastated up 19 with the ball in the second half and a 24 point turn around and lose the game.. in Shacka's own words " our guys have a lot of conversations among each other and I love the passion although its my job to make sure the passion is directed in the right way".. Coach,there should be no conversations but yours or yours asst coaches.. if you have a team captain that is allowed to speak it has to be in a positive way.. You have the talent to blow Kansas out of Austin tonight. Its senior nite and a few fans are being let in.. But my money is on Kansas with revenge tonight .. small play because the better team won't win tonight.. prop play ..over-under fight in huddle tonight.. under wins but over in the post locker room.
