Going against a team who has flat out quit since the botched onside kick against the Rams.The 49er's still have a shot to get a home playoff game against the packers with a little help from the Giants. 49ers'-2.5 looks good on it's own, but add the 6 and the 49er's +3.5 looks fat!! Add the 10 in a three teamer and the 49er's plus 7.5 against this team in absolute abyss looks like the Christmas bonus that I'm still waiting for. Not sure who I'm going to play them with yet. I'm not too crazy about that Indy Under, seeing as they've gone 14-1-1 O/U this year. Even with the extra points...well... I'd be careful. Not as much value teasing a total as there is teasing a side either, in my opinion.

I do like the SF pick though, it was the first thing I spotted this week myself.

PS - Considered Jax +16? As much as I like the Bears, they're not accustomed to being in a position like this. I really do think Jax hangs within 2 TD's, they've shown some improvement over the last few weeks. I wouldn't be surprised if they even give the Bears a bit of a scare. Just a thought.

I know that New ORleans Aaron Brooks will be out of the NFL in 2 years, and his time in Neworleans is coming to an end. He's a prototypical bust in this league. He can't handle sophisticated defenses, as he has proved in every game this year.

One thing I can guarantee you guys is that Garcia started in the CFL. I saw him play many games as he killed my Ottawa Roughriders. His first game he came in for mop up duty up 49-14, and threw 2 late td's. This guy is a competitor, almost never gets injured, and will always give the same effort. After last week's performance, I could see him wanting to get the team back on track. Against Philly garcia's rib were hurt, but look at the guy running for first downs all over the place. This guy is fierce, and won't pull a Aaron Brooks( I'm not really interested in playing today attitude). Just something to think about.

I'm not playing this game, nor any this week, but if you ask for my 'upset special' it would be the aints. Teams with everything to play for versus teams with nothing to play for traditionally do not do well in the last game of the season. If vegas were not 'clearly' taking a side in this game, the line should be SF - 7. They are obviously taking a side here, and it is NO. Good luck to all brave SF backers.

Your exactly right I used your strategy in college the last weekend of the season. I bet 10 dogs 500$ each and went 8-1 1push, it was my best weekend taking all points. The last weekend is always a killer for favorite bettors, you're better off passing or selectively picking your games.

Ok let me get this right now. Vegas is thinking that NO will win so they post the line at 2.5. This dont make sense. I can see why your not betting this game. The more logical reasoning is they posted it at 2.5 so they can get some suckers to play NO. They just want the 50/50 split of the bets we all know that. If they posted it at -7 everyone jumps on SF. This way they tease the unsuspecting into thinking NO is the play. I aint biting !

San Fran lost last week in Dallas. No way they lose this game to the Saints. Garcia will play until the game is not in doubt. I am taking SF -2 1/2 four units.

Scott- Not really following your logic here. If you play this game, I agree SF would be the side at -2.5, but if the line were -7, I'd be looking at the Saints for a back door cover.

I am laying off this game, since I can't figure out the line. My only thought is SF already has the frozen tundra of Lambeau Field on their minds! NO has no reason to show up, yet the line says otherwise. Good luck!

Even if SF wins. Do they not travle to either GB or Chigo. If GB and Chigo win. Even if Chigo loose SF still has to travel. Im not sure they are that great a play. Im not saying don't play them. but if i rated plays 1 thru 3 with 1 the lowest. SF would be a 1.
