Trevor Benjamin plays his last game for Crystal Palace against Rotherham before his loan deal expires.

The 22-year-old striker has scored once in five outings for Palace since signing from Leicester on a one-month deal and could have his move extended.

Eagles manager Trevor Francis said: "We will be speaking to them about extending it for another month."

Palace are aiming to do the double over Rotherham after winning 3-2 at Millmoor on the opening day of the season.

They approach the match on the back of three straight league wins but are still without Steve Thomson, who remains sidelined with an ankle injury.

Rotherham boss Ronnie Moore will be looking for his side to build on their FA Cup win over Southampton when they return to league action at Crystal Palace.

The Millers chief praised his side's character and determination following their memorable 2-1 win against the Saints at Millmoor in round three.

"They put us on the back foot and I thought we defended a little bit too deep late on. But we showed great determination," said Moore.

"It's great for a football club of our size to play against Southampton and it would have been a real gutter for us if they'd equalised late on - even though a draw against them would have been a good result."

United are virtually at full-strength for the trip to the capital and they have been buoyed by the news that Alan Lee (foot problem) started running again earlier this week.

Norwich v Millwall

E-mail your reaction to Football Talk

Man-of-the-moment David Neilson will be recalled to the squad for Norwich's crunch encounter with Millwall on Sunday.

Boss Nigel Worthington will prepare for the clash without any new major injury or suspension worries, but several players are carrying minor knocks following the FA Cup defeat at Chelsea on Wednesday.

Striker Neilson, on loan from Wimbledon, was cup-tied for the third-round tie and the replay.

But left-back Adam Drury, rested with the Millwall game in mind, may also be recalled to the starting line-up.

Millwall duo Richard Sadlier and Christophe Kinet face a race against time to be fit for Sunday's trip to Norwich City.

Both players were substituted during the 1-0 win over Watford on Tuesday after suffering a recurrence of past injuries.

Manager Mark McGhee said: "Sads came off with a bit of a groin again and we are battling to get him fit.

"Christophe felt his hamstring tighten a bit, so we will just have to see how it goes with both of them before the weekend."

Full-back Robbie Ryan should return after missing the Watford game with a stubbed toe.

Millwall are looking to record their 10th unbeaten match against their promotion rivals.

Chelsea's top scorer Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink is expected to return to spearhead the Blues' strike force after overcoming an upper thigh problem.
Emmanuel Petit has recovered from an ankle injury and John Terry also returns to the squad.
Sam dalla Bona and Slavisa Jokanovic both serve one-match suspensions.

Chelsea (from): Cudicini, Melchiot, Gallas, Zenden, Desailly, Stanic, Lampard, Le Saux, Gudjohnsen, Forssell, Zola, Hasselbaink, Petit, Terry.

West Ham will be without midfielder John Moncur for the trip to Chelsea as he serves the first game of a two-match suspension. But Michael Carrick makes a timely return after three games out with a knee injury to partner Joe Cole in the centre.

West Ham (from): James, Hislop, Schemmel, Repka, Dailly, Foxe, Winterburn, Minto, Hutchison, Cole, Carrick, Sinclair, Garcia, Defoe, Di Canio, Kanoute.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

MOST SIGNIFICANT STATS
Chelsea and West Ham meet in a dress rehearsal for next Saturday's FA Cup Fourth Round encounter.
Chelsea go into the game on the back of Wednesday's 4-0 home win over Norwich in the Third Round Replay, and ahead of next Wednesday's Worthington Cup semi-final 2nd leg tie away to another London outfit, Tottenham, where they will be defending a 2-1 first leg lead.
Chelsea go into the weekend without a League win this year, standing one place and five points outside the top 5, having drawn ten top division games - that's more than any other club.
West Ham have lost just one of their last eight Premiership outings and enter this round of matches just outside the top half, but with the division's leakiest defence in away games, having conceded 27 times in 11 games on the road.
All the scoring in the reverse fixture, which was a 2-1 win for the Hammers came in the first 22 minutes.
Frank Lampard, who played a central role in Chelsea's midweek Cup win over Norwich, faces the club where he spent the first six years of his professional career.
Referee Andy D'Urso officiated West Ham's crushing 7-1 defeat by Blackburn at Ewood Park in October when he sent off Tomas Repta.

Chelsea are chasing a fourth win in six corresponding fixtures.
The Hammers are on course for a first 'double' over Chelsea in the Premiership, first over their London rivals since the 1980/81 season and seventh since the League fixture was first staged in 1923.

Referee Report

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ryan Giggs is hoping for his first start of the year for Manchester United after missing the opening two games of 2002 with a hamstring problem.
Giggs came off the bench for the last 20 minutes of United's 3-1 win at Southampton.
Nicky Butt is also available after suspension to provide Sir Alex Ferguson with a selection problem.

Man Utd (from): Barthez, P Neville, Blanc, G Neville, Silvestre, Beckham, Keane, Veron, Scholes, Butt, Giggs, van Nistelrooy, Solksjaer, Irwin, Yorke, O'Shea, Chadwick, Carroll.

Keith Gillespie has been denied the chance to face his old team after being ruled out of the Blackburn squad through sickness and injury. Craig Short is still suspended while Garry Flitcroft has shrugged off the latest recurrence of his groin injury.

Blackburn (from): Friedel, Kelly, Flitcroft, Hignett, Mahon, Curtis, Jansen, Johansson, Neill, Tugay, Grabbi, Dunn, Taylor, Bjornebye, Berg, Cole, Hughes.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

MOST SIGNIFICANT STATS
Manchester United, chasing an eighth Championship in ten Premiership seasons, are out to extend their amazing sequence of successive wins to eight in the League (nine in all), at the expense of a Blackburn Rovers side, who've enjoyed three wins in three competitions in the last two weeks. United's club record of successive League victories is 14.
It could also be an historic day for United striker Ruud van Nistelrooy. The Dutch International, signed for ?19 million by Sir Alex Ferguson in the close season, has scored 23 goals this season, 11 in the last eight matches. Should he be on target here, Van Nistelrooy would set a new record of scoring in eight consecutive Premier League matches.
The champions are the Premiership's top scorers, netting on average one goal every 37 minutes. Rovers have managed only four clean sheets in 22 top divisions games.
Should either side score here, Manchester United will have completed 100 successive Premiership matches without a goalless draw. Their last no score draw in the top flight was away to Blackburn on 12 May, 1999.
United drew the reverse fixture 2-2. They were at the beginning of their below par spell. David Beckham headed into his own net to cancel out Ryan Giggs' opener. Keith Gillespie put Graeme Souness' side in front, only for Beckham to equalise with 12 minutes remaining.
While United have scored 26 and conceded 7 goals in winning their last eight games - seven of which were in the Premier League, Blackburn have lost 3 of their last 4 top flight games, failing to score in each of the three defeats.
Rovers have conceded one goal in each of their last 6 League and Cup games, including Wednesday's 3-1 home win over Barnsley in the FA Cup Third Round Replay.

HEAD TO HEAD NOTES
The last two meetings were at Ewood Park and were both drawn (0-0 in 98/99 and 2-2 this season).
United have completed the home and away 'double' over Blackburn in three of the last four seasons they have met. But it won't happen this season as they drew 2-2 at Ewood Park.
The champions are unbeaten in 12 League and Cup games with Rovers.
Blackburn have never won a Premier League match at United.
Rovers' only win in 12 League visits over 41 years to Old Trafford was 0-3 in the old First Division on 13 October, 1962.
Blackburn have won only two away League games against Manchester United since the war, and have scored three goals in each.

Derby goalkeeper Mart Poom is expected to be ruled out for a month as he bids to overcome a finger injury. Caretaker boss Billy McEwan, preparing for his first game in charge following Colin Todd's sacking, will replace Poom with Andy Oakes. McEwan has few other worries apart from the long-term problems afflicting Craig Burley and Branko Strupar. Giorgi Kinkladze and Adam Bolder are pushing for a starting place.

Derby (from): Oakes, Grant, Riggott, Elliott, Higginbotham, Grenet, Ducrocq, Boertien, Kinkladze, Powell, Zavagno, Bolder, Ravanelli, Christie, Burton, Mawene

Experienced midfielder Jim Magilton is ruled out for Ipswich with a hamstring injury and will likely be replaced by Argentinian Sixto Peralta. Town are also missing Thomas Gaardsoe, sidelined with an ankle problem, but Marcus Stewart could make his first Premiership start up front since breaking his jaw at the start of November with Alun Armstrong (neck) not 100% fit.

Ipswich (from): Marshall, Makin, McGreal, Venus, Hreidarsson, Wright, Peralta, Holland, Reuser, M Bent, Armstrong, Stewart, Counago, Bramble, Clapham, Wilnis, Naylor, Miller, Le Pen, Sereni.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

MOST SIGNIFICANT STATS
The 50th League meeting between Derby and Ipswich is the archetypal bottom-of-the-table six pointer. Depending on other results, victory for Ipswich could take them out of the bottom three for the first time since October, and could also consign County to the foot of the table for the first time this season.
Derby are looking for their third manager in just over three months, following Monday's departure of Colin Todd after 98 days and 17 matches, 11 of which were lost. Reserve team boss Billy McEwan has been put in temporary charge. It's nothing new for Ipswich to be the first opponents for a club who've either just lost their manager or appointed a new one. It's occurred on several occasions in the last three seasons.
Ipswich go to Pride Park in search of a second successive 'double', just a week after completing home and away victories over Tottenham. The Tractor Boys beat Derby 3-1 in their opening home game of the season, but then went 15 Premiership matches without victory. The Suffolk side can only claim a maximum of three 'doubles'. Liverpool is the other club in question, although Ipswich have not yet played them home or away.
The Rams, who've conceded on average one goal every 52 minutes of Premiership football, are in danger of a 14th League defeat, while Ipswich are seeking only their second away win in the top division.
The Tractor Boys have hit form of late with League wins over Spurs (twice), Leicester and Sunderland - interspersed by one defeat, away to Charlton. But they still have kept just four clean sheets. All clubs in the top flight have recorded more, with the exception of Blackburn.
If this match finishes all square, Ipswich will have recording exactly 600 draws in their League history.

HEAD TO HEAD NOTES
These clubs have met three times in the Premiership with one win each and one draw.
The last two corresponding fixtures were drawn.
Derby have not been beaten in a home League match by Ipswich for 22 years, but there have only been four meetings in that time (2 wins, 2 draws).
Ipswich's last win at Derby was 0-1 in the old Division One on 17 November, 1979, when Bobby Robson was in charge.
Ipswich's only Premiership win in the first four months of the season was in the reverse fixture. It was the Ipswich debut of Finidi George, who put in a sensational display and scored two of the Tractor Boys goals in a 3-1 win, when Derby's Brian O'Neil was sent off.
Town are vying for their first 'double' over Derby in the Premiership, first in the League over the Rams since the 1978/79 season and fifth since the fixture was first contested in 1954.
In the last 14 League trips to Derby, Ipswich have never scored more than one goal.
There has never been a hat trick in this corresponding fixture.
