Will try some reverse kara and start this thread.
Was going to give up on em but anticipated weather changed my mind as I think I may have a few good angles. Carbon copy weather of last year"terrible"! 4th rd last year is good indicator as they had 35mph all day with Tewell only one to bust 70.Will give him a look in outright and match as I believe he gets to stay at home again and Gilder and couple others will stay there also.

Outrights
Tewell 25 /1 E/W 1unit each @ 365

72 holes all @ 5dimes
Tewell -107 over Thorpe
see above
Hall -102 over Jacobs
beat him by 20 strokes here last year????
1st rd
Hall -109 over Jacobs

Outright plays (2 units):

Gil Morgan to win 14/1 e.w. @ BetInternet
Given the poor weather forecast and the offer of 5 places in a 30-main field with BetInternet and SkyBet, I am side-stepping Irwin who I would have otherwise taken at 5/1. Morgan has only won once this season - his lowest number since joining this Tour in 1996 - but he has become very consistent in the latter half of the year. He has finished in the top-10 in six of his last seven events and was 5th last year. He should be able to repeat that feat as he returns to his home State.

Bruce Lietzke to win 14/1 e.w. @ SkyBet
Lietzke was leading the event last year until the high winds of the last round made scoring very difficult. He finished 3rd, two shots behind Gilder. He has been in good form, retaining the SAS Championship last month, but he is the perfect player for outright selections. This season he has won three times, finished 2nd once, 3rd once, 4th once, 5th once, 6th once and never finished 7th-11th. He has retained his laid-back approach of his PGA Tour days, but when in contention he rarely underachieves. As much chance of winning as finishing in the top-5.

Doug Tewell to win 25/1 e.w. @ BetInternet
Tewell was the player who gained the most in last year's final round - only one other player broke 70 - and he finished 2nd, a shot behind Gilder. If that round is a good indicator for this year, given the weather forecast, then these look generous odds. He has not been in great form recently, but accuracy will be key requirements this week and Tewell should be suited. Hopeful of a top-5 finish from such a small field, especially given his local connection. He lives alongside Gil Morgan in Edmond, Oklahoma and both share an affiliation with Oak Tree Golf Club.

Watched the beards today instead pga as with weather and such might find best values in matches this week.Tomorrow should be better(around 60) and will prob pass but shit suppose to hit fan again on Sunday. Here are some notes for the mates that did not get to view.

Despite very wet conditions they are NOT playing LC&P and many balls are covered in mud.Saw McCord putt one in from off green that rolled like and egg and speaking of greens they are in VERY poor condition, good lagging and luck at a premium.

This course is a fader of the balls dream. Only 2 doglegs left on whole course. Will look at what is offered on Leizke in running in am.Should suit him well.

Injurys: Announcer said Fuzzy was playing with back probs but was joking all day and could see no pain when he picked ball from hole. Halls middle finger split due to cold conditions but a little tape should fix that.

Hope weather on sunday is similiar to last year, another tourny this year with similiar conditions was Sibel Classic. I am taking announcers word for this as I did not chart weather in that tourney.

Watson -102 over Irwin
Morgan +102 over Gilder

Irwin's score yesterday was worse than he actually played. Except for one ball in water he got absolutely no putt to drop burning edges all day, however raining there now and rain called for all day and Watson I believe is ultimate bad weather player with his success across the creek in British Open weather--and maybe frustration of Irwin carries over.

Morgan is home boy and has added new driver this week he said he is hitting 15 yards longer--as long as he thinks he is and has good vibes,great!--and he is already bout 10 yards longer than Gilder and distance will be at a premium in these conditions.

Stan You got some good ones in the hunt bud.I will be watching this live today so if it comes down to the wire and close I'll try to keep you updated live if you wish:)
Hoping I can add Tewell to the mix but too far back I believe;)

Cheers DTB. Got one win already with Se Ri Pak and chances in the last three tournaments as well

Fortunately, we do get 'live' coverage of the Senior Tour Championship and the Buick Challenge. It all depends on the weather it will be live or tape-delayed ...

Biggest worry would be Irwin. I remember his final round 67 in the Siebel Classic earlier this year. We get the final day TV coverage on Tuesdays & Wednesdays over here and it was simply a brilliant round in the conditions. Looks like it will be the same today ... but hopefully just on the conditions front!

Don't know his stats in bad weather Ian but can say his attitude has been great in this weather. He has been cutting up as usual and on course interviews have jovial where most have been "not so happy".
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
That brings me to a question. The people that have taken over Senior coverage here have added a lot of on course between holes interviews. Is that same coverage you pick up "across the creek".

Final update:

Matchups: 1-3-0; -5.04 units

McCord/Bland LOST by 7
Wadkins/McCord LOST by 8
Kite/Gilder LOST by 10
Hall/Jacobs WON by 1

Outrights: 1-2; -1.50 units

Morgan 2nd
Lietzke 10th
Tewell 21st

Disappointing finale to the Senior PGA Tour season. Had been a classic head-to-head between Watson and Morgan, but once Watson moved ahead on the back nine, Morgan began to struggle and was disappointing in finishing two shots back. Lietzke finished a shot out of the top-5 and the only win in the matchups was by a lone shot. The losses were very heavy. Very disappointing to finish this Tour with a deficit on the matchups.

Senior PGA Tour ytd
Matchups: 14-16; -4.05 units
Outrights: 24-49; +76.00 units

Finished year bout like it started. Very weak on these boys. Will probably give them a go again next year--- though it might be best just to coat tail the crew here who hammered them.
Got some nice ones from you mates this year and would like to tell you thanks and great job. Maybe I can contibute something positive in 2003. Heres to ya:toast:
