So. Cal
so, in the nfl i've been told that you can call holding on almost every pass play???

apparently not on ANY of the Bucs 67 pass attempts today.

and then to follow up last weeks Ed Hochuli's call they call Charles Tillman for unsportsmanlike conduct in OT after a 3rd and 10 play goes nowhere on the Bucs own 8 yard line (punt and good field position coming up)....this after the bucs limeman throws not one, but TWO punches to the head AND an elbow?????

these officials need to stop determining the outcome of the game.....or, maybe they are being told which way to determine the outcome of these games

Coach Smith saying the D was exhausted

Tillman has done that shit before. On a personal note, (not in the name dropping league Sun Sue is), met him last year along with 4 other Bears players and he was arrogant fuk.

On a good note, it wasn't the qb position that lost the game.

No a bone head play by Tillman and some bad coaching...Don't know why they didn't tell the safties to jump the slant route. They ran a quick slant on the Bears all FN game and they never tried to jump it,pathetic....Almost as bad as Cleveland running a screen play and getting a TD,then never running another one.Terrible play calling along with some terrible individual plays. All comes down to coaching and discipline and don't think either of these coaches instill it.

One of the talking heads off the radio went into the TB locker room after the game. The players said the exact same thing you are referring to. They said the plan was to run the slant when they needed to. It was there the whole game, especially close to the end zone.

Not sure what down it was when they tied it,think it was 3rd and goal but they brought in 2 running backs like they were going to try and run it and then split Stevens out wide in 1 on 1 coverage and threw an easy TD pass to tie it.#1 Tampa didn't run with any success and #2 why would they not take the inside away with the safety.Understand Stevens had size advantage and could win a jump ball but that would have been harder to complete then an easy slant.Better yet the coach should have recognized it as soon as Stevens split out and called timeout, then again he would have to be paying attention to the game, something it doesn't appear he does.More then a few bad decisions, remember the Bears throwing on 3rd and 1 instead of letting Forte get the first..Remember the QB play did cost you the game too, unless you don't consider that INT for a TD.Not sure I can totally agree with the officials blowing this game, they missed the lineman but the league won't.That was totally stupid by Tillman, they were going to get the ball,Tampa was taking out frustration as they new they lost, then it wasn't called and they go down for a TD and eventual win.
