Colts quarterback Peyton Manning has been awarded the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award for his off-the-field service. Walter Payton?s wife, who awarded the trophy, claimed, ?This year Manning proved he is always selflessly thinking about other people--especially when looking for a scapegoat to rationalize his pathetic playoff performances.?
