fwiw, I'm not religious at all. Definitely to each their own and people can do whatever the hell they want except the morons who kill people for 40 virgins or whatever.

with that said, did anyone watch the bible on history channel. I don't know the bible at all. Certainly don't know more than the average 5th grader about it, but whatever.

I thought it was pretty entertaining. I just watched the first two hours and liked it alot. I think its ten two hour episodes, but really enjoyed the first one. If nothing else, I'm learning some names and stories so I don't cringe when the categories come up on Jeopardy.

I suspect if you were a bible scholar there would probably be a million things you could find wrong or offensive, etc.

But from someone who has just a passing knowledge of it, it was enjoyable.

anyone else?

I like it...it's educational (slightly) and thought provoking (to a larger degree) which is good...it's right up there with Duck Dynasty..:0074

I consider my Bible knowledge above average. I really enjoyed the first two episodes. :0074

The Boys posted about Ishmael. Many consider Ishmael the father of all the Arab people, and he is an integral part of the Muslim faith.
