It will probably take the linsmaker a couple of more weeks to realize there are 3 teams that are so much worse than last year that trends and stats from prior years mean nothing. You know who they are:
BUF
DAL
WASH
Throw out trends and remember how bad they really are. (note-it is unfortunate that the WASH game was on Mon night for all to see. The line will be harder to bet against them)

i just looked at the lines and don't necessarily agree that they are off, considering the opponents:

wash is hosting kc, which is really struggling, yet slight favorites. what should this line be? 4, 5? certainly not any higher than 6, or everything will sway wash's way, despite all. kc's offense/ offensive line is struggling, and making their opponent's defenses look like herculeses.

dallas at philadelphia. not reacting to the circumstances? probably overdone. this is probably the most attractive one. i will have to look at the database, but i seem to remember some close, low scoring games here. and dallas really hasn't changed that much. they are still as shi...y as they have been in the past.

pitt at buff. sure, pitt favored slightly, and rightly so, despite the layoff. the line is about right. can't be any higher than 3, may even drop to -1.

what i think will be the game of the week is cinci at san diego. both teams are inspired and clicking. leaning toward cinci.

That SD line seems high to me considering the teams they have beaten have virtually no offense and suspect defenses. CIN offense is much better than either WASH or Dallas, and their D is obviously much improved. I would lean towards the Bengals and the points there.

Good point to watch soe these teams. Even My Packers lok real good. But I know as you do they played a bad Det team and Wash looks sick. So I say we must watch out for those who have won easy over bad teams. They may get over spotted as fav.
