I know it's early but 0-3 against the spread and strait up for the Big Fraud. Lousy coaching the culprit in all three games. Lloyd Carr, nothing more needs to be said. Glen Mason never met a lead he couldn't blow and Randy Walker gives up on his freshman stud after one fumble and throws the ball all over the field. One note of caution, the stud coaches now step up to the plate:

Tressel (Great in Bowls)
Ferentz Ditto
Joe Pa 20-11 or something like that
Barry Alvarez Great record in bowls and last game.

wait....i thought the Big-12 sucked(3-1 now, 4-0 vs. spread and Mizzou is tied).
What does that say about other conferences. So far they have wins over Pac-10,CUSA,Big-10, and tied with SEC.

Alvarez doesn't stink, what athlete would want to migrate to Madison Wisconsin to play football. He gotten as much as possible as that team.

Come on gj be realistic. Wins over NW, Rutgers, and BYU and you are bragging that it is telling about the conference? The loss by Oregon to a brutal OU says alot more than those 3 wins, to the extent someone really wishes to place some great meaning in bowl games or useless "which conference is better" arguments.

again.....i am one that believes there is little difference between the top 5 conf.....i do think the big 12 was 5th this season with the other 4 fairly close.....however, the big 12 is proving to be under-rated this bowl season and the big 10 is proving to be a bunch of average teams

as for the pac-10....the pac-10 commish signed the deals for these shitty bowls so the teams must play them......3-1 record is a 3-1 record.....guarantee if the pac-10 was 0-4 i'd be hearing how terrible a conf the pac-10 is..........

if one cant judge by the bowl games how good a conf is, when exactly are we supposed to? when the sec plays the directional schools and rolls to a 30-6 occ record in sept then plays each other for 2 months???

Good points GJN, how does the Pac 10 get stuck in these rotten bowls? Probably the same garbage of "they don't travel well". It's amazing but weve seen the 2nd thru 4th best teams in that conference and it aint even New Year's eve. Meanwhile, one team from the SEC has played to date.

Everyone in the Big 10 stepped up a Bowl due to getting 2 teams in the BCS games and then Michigan stepped down in class due to Iowa travelling so well and it was a game UofM didn't want to play.

I think the Big 10's as strong as any conference, but be wary of Iowa who's taking a huge step up from where they belong. Wisky could/should very well get blown out, but something tells me Tuberville isn't the best coach to keep a team from getting too full of themselves.

BBC,

Like I said, it's all dumbass coaching. Those were all nail biter games and Carr and Mason are known imbeciles in close games.
