Yesterday - That is the last time I will take the Dodgers until I see some major changes. Playing in front of a sold out stadium, good news for Kevin Brown, the need to keep up in the wild card race, a rejuvenated Gary Sheffield - all of this wasted in another poor effort. Trombley is better suited for batting practice pitching than relief duty.
Today - This is the team I wanted to play yesterday, but shied off. Not today. Take the San Diego Padres -125. The Pads, believe it or not, are playing .500 ball. They have won 7 of last 10. They go against a Montreal team that is 19 games under .500. Herndon has done well in limited opportunities. SD has a little pop in the lineup as well. Take San Diego Padres.
