Won't be around tomr.so let me get these in.Was lucky tonite.I had OU -36.5.I took it last nite because I felt today it would go up a pt.
Win by a half pt this time but will lose many more in the future.

My strongest play this weekend is Louisville -13 over UK.I'll capp that game tomr nite since it's being played on Sunday.

Iowa St -21.5 over Kansas
I know ISU is just dying all week about Seneca's TD but this team is really talented.Mangino will help the JayHawks but their not ready yet.Kansas ats record away is unreal.Something like 4 -22 and 1-5 in openers. The Clones defense is pretty good and should shut down the weak Kansas Off.Senneca and his offense looked great after they woke up.Lyr at kansas they beat them by 42 pts.Should be almost the same at home.

Texas -35 North Texas
My alma mater vs my daughters school. The line has dropped to -35.
NT has a pretty solid team with 20 starters returning from lyr's 5-6 bowl team. But they lost the Sun belt Def POYr in Kassell at LB.
They do have some decent RB's and Wr's.Their Qb Hall is pretty good even though he played hurt lyr. The OL and DL have some size.kennedy their nose tackle is 5'10,310.
They have some quick DB's but the LB's are a problem.
But their biggest problem is they have no kicker or punter.Even a few days ago in practice they couldn't kick an extra pt.
Texas will definaltly block a punt tomr.
Not going to get into Texas team.Simms has 3 great Wr's.A huge OL that could open holes for Benson and his mother.OL will protect Simms and if you give him time his has that cannon.Simms always has great games vs teams like NT.
Texas ats record is terrible. It's 5-14 in non conf. games. 3-14 in season openers, etc, etc.
UT has so much more talent everywhere.None of the NT players were ever recruited by UT.In the Dallas area top 100 HS kids, the top 20 or 30 go to AM,UT,TCU,etc.NT gets the bottom of the barrel.
But these kids play hard. They play Bama,TCU and Zona next.
Lyr they covered at OU and lost 37-10. Texas Tech beat them 42-14.
In the past other then OU when they played a big time ranked team they have been blown away. Kansas St 2 yrs ago 55-0,LSU the yr before 52-0.
The real question here is what does mack brown want to do.He can run it up if he wants. Show case his team, etc
I'm not really going to play this game.I'll probaly put a little down on my alma mater and take the 35 pts.
But if the Horns win this 55-7 I wouldn't be the least surprised.
I'm betting with my heart here.
.
I'm going to also play the following for small plays
Houston +7.5
So Carolina -23.5 over New Mex St
Central Fl +13 over Penn st

Good luck this weekend Box.

Agree with the Louisville play as being strong.
Rarely lay 2 units on a game, but got down on that one yesterday already.

Box,

"Mother Theresa Play" I Love that!
I've got one too.............UCONN +33 ....Ha ..figures eh!

Well,
BC ranked 28 and even though Wm Green is gone their O line will dominate and I think BC will run pretty big in this game...I'd not play the game if I thought Brian St Pierre would be throwing all day.....He's a little immobile but he can throw!!!!!(25 td last year) not far behind Flutie.

Anyway, BC will win comfortably and probably score around 40...
I saw the 55-3 game at "The Heights 2 years ago and this is a much more talented CT team. (bigger, deeper, healthier)
BC is smallish at the cornerback (6'5" Walls is gone) and CT QB Dan Orlovsky should be better this year as a starting soph.
He was recruited by BC among others as a hs All-American at Shelton HS. At 6'5" - 228 he'll run the ball occasionally and threw for close to 400yds in a 45-28 L to CINN last year..

CT should run for more than the 49 yards they got back in 2000 and show better balance on offense. All that said................GOTTA see the first one before this would qualify for anything but an
MTP
:D Good Luck this weekend!
