This fight is Wednesday Night on VS.

It wil be a two hour broadcast, with the undercard featuring some other show members.

The main event:

10 ROUNDS
TROY ROSS vs EHINOMEN 'HINO' EHIKHAMENOR

Graham has a good preview up tonight:
http://www.fightwriter.com/?q=node/2089

Very aggravating to have no actual fight film of the Contender fights. The edited show makes it difficult to analyze what is really happening.

The past few seasons, ESPN posted the full fights on there website. No such luck this year with the VS. network.

I agree with Graham's pre-fight odds and I believe the offshore line will be about the same. This seems like an evenly matched fight. If money comes in on Ross, I may take a shot on the young, confident Hino.

Ross is clearly the puncher here, but Hino did go 12 with Herbie Hide. That may have been a learning experience he can benefit from.

My play depends on the odds I guess. I expect it to be an entertaining battle.
The winner should be an interesting addition to the cruiserweight mix.

OK I'll bite

Ehinomen Ehikhamenor +220 at sportsbetting
That works for me

The kid has a good right hand, youth and determination on his side
Ross has much deeper amateur experience and is rightfully favored, but I think Hino can snake a decision here

He's been 12 with Hide
on the flipside, Ross has never been more than 8 and has been extremely inactive the last couple years

+220 is worth a shot. I think this fight is going to be real close.

also broke down and took Cora on the undercard
I just can't see how Cora loses to this guy - 41 years old and fought nothing but stiffs!
it's only 6 rounds tonight - I like Cora by UD.

parlay:
Cora - S. George - G. Johnson

straight on Ehikhamenor

Good luck guys.

These are my bets

Escalera to beat Vega at -130. I just think Escalera is the better fighter.

Escalera/Vega Under 5 1/2 at +220. Escalera was dummied in his last fight and I think this is the only way Vega wins.
Vega has been dummied a couple of times by guys not as good as Escalera.
I'm hoping Escalera wins ITD.

Cora/Hoye Parlay. I just think they are better than the guys they are facing.

Good Luck :toast: :toast: :toast:

ADDING:

Escalera STRAIGHT
I agree with weepaul. Escalera seems the better guy.

Coyne/Gingras OVER 5.5
I agree with Romi here. 2 crappy guys who can't punch. Coyne was the guy with the eye injury, so hopefully that doesn't become a factor. 6 rounds is really short.

staying away form Rico Hoye. I think he wins a decision, but I don't think either Hoye or AK are very good at all.

As stated earlier, I don't see how Cora loses his fight. Flamos is atrocious and doesn't have much power. Cora should be OK here.

Good luck madjackers.

Contender Finale Undercard!

In the opening bout of the evening from the brand new MGM Grand Arena at Foxwoods in Mashantucket, CT, Alfredo Escalera Jr. (17-2-1, 12 KO?s) led by his powerful jab and explosive combinations, battered and beat his opponent Erick Vega (8-4-1, 6 KO?s) over six masterful rounds until referee Johnny Callas called a halt to the bout at 2:50 of the final round.

WINNER !!!!!

???-
?The Contender?s? Ryan Coyne (10-0, 2 KO?s) kept his perfect record unblemished as he landed the more effective punches and combinations, typically in the later minutes of each round to score a six round unanimous decision over Richard Gingras (9-3, 5 KO?s). Scores of the bout were 60-54 twice and 59-55 all in favor of Coyne.

WINNER !!!
:toast: :00hour

The local flare added to the card by Tim Flamos was extinguished quickly by Felix Cora, Jr. Cora(20-3-2, 10 KOs) and Flamos(20-6-1, 8 KOs) fought most of the first round on even terms, each trying to break the other down by working the body. As the action wore on, Cora began finding his range, and battering Flamos, from nearby Brockton, Mass. In round three, with Cora pinned in the corner, Cora unleashed a series of uppercuts that backed Flamos off him. A series of looping power punches in the middle of the ring dropped Flamos, whose subsequent trouble rising to his feet cause referee John Callas to stop the bout at 1:57 of round three.

WINNER !!!
