Honey, I pass this year. I'm 47 years old, been going to the damn things since *I* was a kid, been taking Ian since he was an infant 15 friggin years ago.

It's crowded, it's HOT as hell, it stinks because of all the farm animals I can see anytime I want too anyway, it's loud, the traffic sucks, the parking sucks. Nah....I'll pass this year and FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE!!!!

By the way, honey? Will you bring me home one of those green pepper and onion and sausage things?

I HATE THE FAIR!!!!!!!!!!

And, I didn't have to go. FINALLY!!!!!

county/state fairs are a wonderful thing, IMO.....the killer part is the expense

it's not that bad. next week's one in pa is a lot better ,you should go to that one get some culture. great food at that one.

You are damn right, the fair SUCKS! Had ours in mid June, which by the way, is the hottest part of the friggin' year in KY. This was my 4th straight trip, and I'll blow my head off if I got to go 11 more years..
