Davis Cup match between GBR and Canada ends with umpire with black eye, holy fuck:scared

Hit umpire in the face, first time in like 300 thousand ITF/ATP tournaments that has ever happened:scared

You will never see anything like that ever again, that was crazyness:scared

That incident will be talked about for life, that has never happened before, yes there have been some incidents of parents beating up umpires, or the shit Tarango did at Wimbledon, but nothing like that:scared

That umpire eye is fucked, half his face will be black when he gets on the flight tomorrow, wowzers:scared

He's injured, can't play when you are injured. And yep, he needs to relax.

I can link about 1,000 points where you claim he plays injured and how much courage he has. He's a cunt. A selfish one who shunned his country. You know who didn't? That Novak Djokovic guy who has nothing to prove. Yeah, that guy who actually loves his country and appreciates the sport.

That happens like once a match at least, hell the match before Evans smacked the ball into the crowd. The problem this time was the 17 year old Shapovalov missed the crowd and hit the umpire in the eye:scared

And he picked probably the worst time to do it, in the 5th and deciding match of Davis Cup with millions of Canadians watching as it lead into the Superbowl broadcast, I mean many were watching that match at bars that knew nothing about tennis (getting ready for Suberbowl to start). Then that happens and it is all over tv, hell during the Superbowl the Canadian broadcast showed that replay, poor kid:facepalm:

I have met Shapovalov a couple times, he's a good kid. This incident will get him mentally tough that is for sure, but next month or so he'll be fucked, poor kid, I mean he's only 17. Oh and I was sitting close to his parents, the look on his mom's face when that happened, she was like "oh fuck, what the hell did my kid just do!"

That has never happened before and will never happen again. I have seen a dude rush an umpire and try to fight him (he got tackled by other player) I have seen parents fighting with an umpire (the father went to prison for assault) at junior ITF tournaments, but nothing in pro ranks where umpire gets hit in the eye:scared

Shapovalov was remorseful and emotional while addressing the media.......

"Obviously this is unacceptable behaviour from me," Shapovalov said. "I just feel awful for letting my team down, for letting my country down, for acting a way that I would never want to act.

"I can promise that's the last time I will do anything like that."

Team Canada captain Martin Laurendeau had never dealt with a similar situation, but clearly felt for his young player.

"He's not that kind of guy. It's just the beginning of his career so he'll draw a big lesson out of this," Laurendeau said. "Curbing your emotions on the court is probably something that he'll need to make a living out of this sport. You can't compete if you don't have emotional control and this lesson can serve him for the rest of his career and the rest of his life."

By the way the umpire (Arnaud Gabas from France) had to go to the hospital because his eye swelled up so bad it completely shut. He also had bits of tennis ball fuzz stuck in his eye, well that has to suck.

None of this would have happened if that pussy Raonic would have played. Fucking too much jizz up his ass to move around I suppose.

He was injured, thus unable to play.

Andy Murray didn't show up, and he's was healthy.

he's was healthy??

what does that even mean. Is english your 2nd language?

He wasn't hurt. He's never hurt. He's a pussy and every match he lost you claimed he was hurt. The point is he sucks. Tim Hortons has a permanent job for him behind the counter in a few years. He should be ashamed of himself and his home country of Trinidad and Tobego should outlaw him forever.

Milos still hurt, he's at home with his chick......he feels bad he couldn't play because of his injury but sometimes even with the love of a great women it isn't enough to heal a fucked up leg. Danielle Knudson gives him three massages a day but even that wasn't enough. She consoled him with cuddles though, so that helped.
