I usually hate most moves the Packers do but this time I think they got lucky Adams wanted out. Paying Adams 30 plus million for a WR in his 30s is not recommended and paying both Rodgers and Adams would have been killer and making it a 2-year window to win, 2024 Rodgers is a whopping 68 million against the cap. The Packers now have the ability to get other free-agent receivers all to be it not as good as Adams but they do gain Cap space and draft capital. The move does hurt their Super Bowl chances this year. significantly.
