It became official tonight. The last vestiges of the site The Sporting News are gone.
Fox Sports bought them out last year, but they kept some of the writer and format until now.

Fox Sports is a good site, but less competition is usually bad. Time will tell.

Of course, I noticed on the site from FoxSports:

365 days of coverage: Get Pro Football Ticket

What was free now costs. American corporations sucking us dry.

I believe that TSN is still putting their name on the paper/mag and a few pay services, but I doubt that the original writers are still there.

TSN is very good content, and I believe they were one of the first one's to start with fantasy baseball, but Fox Sports is one of the last major TV networks to not have a mainstream sports web site.

How many people would ever log onto FoxSports.com for breaking news? ESPN, and CBSportsline have their pieces of the pie, and this was FoxSports' way of getting a group of viewers without basically starting from scratch.
