I hope the backlash continues on these morons and make an example out of them.

What they said was bad but compared to what Chrissie Hynde of the pretenders said pails in comparison.

This jerk said she hopes the United States loses the war to Iraq to teach them a lesson

You know what? If Ms Hyndee, made that statement in Iraq, in
the reverse: She would be gone. That`s the difference about
our country, you can express what you want, and not be "gone".:nono: :nono:

The backlash continued tonight in front of millions on American Idol when Simon blasted the chicks lead singer...and said one of the contestants should take her place. Was hillarious

yep, she was very stupid to say that. The 2 sisters should ditch her and get somebody that's easier on the eyes like they are.

We do have the right not to buy their CD's or merchandise but when people on network shows try to prevent someone from making a living for exercising their free speech than something is wrong. And I say that if somebody declares a boycott against a hawk or a dove. O'Reilly on that Spin Zone of his is famous for that.
But yes you are right we do have the right to not buy anything. however when their songs are suddenly out of the playlist something is wrong somewhere. It is only out because some suit from the conglomerate that runs and controls the playlists on all these radio stations sent a memo. Something about that doesn't seem right. I thought we fought for the flag and the right to say what we think and to make a living.
Now that being said what Chrisse Hynde said was downright wrong and I will never buy another of her songs again. Even is she is the theme song for Rush Limbaugh!

i`m still shaking my head on this one

what kind of logic was that girl using?.....a country music star, that makes her livelihood in an industry in which a very large majority of the stars and fans are blue collar folks or from blue collar roots....and those are the most unflaggingly patriotic prople in this country.....nashville would back us if we attacked the vatican(just a joke).......is this girl really as stupid as she looks to be?....apparently so.....i know the other 2 would like to bitch-slap her silly.....like going to an naacp meeting and yelling the "n" word......as the ghouls said in "return of the living dead"...."bring me more brains...i need brains!!!"

I dissagree with you. Radio stations make money by people listenting to them, the higher the rating the more commercials sell for. If the majority of your listeners are changing the station everytime you play a song by a certian group then you are loosing in the rating game, thus you should not play that song again.

I believe what she said was. Im from Texas. It's to bad Bush is from the same state. Im ashame of his actions. Thats is what all news out lets reported end of last week. There was no mention that she hoped we lost the war. Does not matter what she said she can say it. However I do not think someone with the attetion her group gets shoud say what she did. I here it was that time of the month for her. That could explain it. :D
