Watched this on Hulu last night. Pretty wild story. I was expecting a twist but didn't expect it to go the way it did. I highly recommend.

The attitude toward refugees/immigrants back in the 70's is worth noting.

I'd like to see it but don't have Hulu. It was on Amazon but not offered at this time. I quit torrents after some scary emails I received from Comcast telling me I better stop. :scared

Torrents should be avoided, they are notorious for "hacker shit". And the reason Jack received a "warning e-mail" from his ISP is because torrent downloads/uploads are pretty easy to track. They "take up space" that the ISP isn't charging you for and they don't like that. Or to put it another way, it is like you are paying your landlord to rent an apartment but you are using the landlords garage at no charge. ISP's don't like that, they don't like to give away free shit.

Unless you really know what you are doing, I'd stay away from torrents. Some real sophisticated hackers use torrents to get into your personal information and steal your shit.

The last thing Jack wants is to lose all his porn.

Of course with that said watching sports on "illegal feeds" (unlawful viewing of sporting events) and downloading tv shows and movies from "illegal movie/tv" websites is also dangerous, so there is that. Pretty much every person on Madjacks has watched at least one sporting event illegally off of those "illegal streams" websites. So yeah, fuck it, live on the edge:SIB

No, Comcast got a complaint from whoever owns the rights to Casino. I got that last email about 30 seconds after I downloaded it. They told me to remove it from my computer immediately or face serious consequences, and don't ever do it again. I believed them. :scared

They had me as a repeat offender too. I feel lucky that they didn't cut me off and I never went back to my source. I had been using a VPN so that last email and the ones I got before that were a long time ago. I forgot to use my VPN browser when I downloaded Casino. Christ, a movie that I've seen about 20 times too.

Well on the plus side they only gave you a warning. It could have been worse as you pointed out.

:scared

And the e-mail was probably from Martin Scorsesekurby

I?ll have to check it out.

A bit off topic, but about Hulu. Do any of you Hulu users have problems with it being terrible? Buffering, glitching, playing audio with no video, etc when nothing else EVER has a problem?

Hulu is the worst for me followed by disney plus then hbo max. The fx platform is bad as is espn, but I don?t use those much.

What you are describing - sounds exactly like the apps have surpassed whatever hardware you have.

No issues here. The only thing we have issues with is Apple TV.

I received an actual letter from Spectrum telling me to quit that shit. I gave the letter to my brother-in-law who's a lawyer. He said the letter was legit. I was damn scared and told my wife to stop using Torrent. I think it's because she doesn't close the program immediately after downloading her movies. She allows others to "seeding" off of her downloads.

They can get you if you do turn it off and not allow it to seed. I always turned mine off. I quit and I miss it too. I got pretty much anything I wanted any time I wanted it including stuff that wasn't available anywhere.
