From the first time I heard them in 1984 (first pic) til today, what a ride!! To say I embraced the lifestyle they transmitted would be an understatement.

I went to Cali in 1984, met my half cousin (only time I ever saw him and that family for 2 days), he's the one in the Motley shirt (black). I'm the straight laced blonde on the end in my boat shoes....gay (take it easy fun police)

He played the Shout At the Devil album for me and that was it. I bought a velcro tri flap wallet the next day with a pentagram.on it that said Motley Crue. Lost it on the PCH after playing hoops the next day, another great story, but went back to NH with it. Bought the album....told all my buddies about it....

rest is history.....honestly I'm glad it's over. I went to the "Final Show" in 2015 in LA....then they caved like they all do. However, I got to.see the real final.show with the original line-up in Vegas in Sept. They are a shell of their former self by like 15 years...it was a painful ending but man I fucking enjoyed the ride!!!

I'm goin country!!! Yeeeee Hawwwww

Gotcha....rock solid shoes right there, rock solid:00hour

I too played the "Shout at the Devil" cassette tape over and over again, I was such a bad ass little kid:mj07:

And yes agree, when you are in a "metal band in the early 80's" it might be time to call it quits when your band members reach 70 years old, I mean you can only go on for so long before it gets painful.

They did "Knock em Dead" that is for sure:clap:
