the fight was stopped due to a technical decision in the 8th round
with the judges going to the score cards. E Holyfield was declared the winner by a majority decision. The fight is considered official with action on both the side and total rounds.

Its just pathetic the way they allow Holyfield to continue to use the head butt as part of his arsenal. He has done it for ten years. The guy has a head like a rock and uses it to his advantage even though its against the rules. Why did Tyson bite ears when he fought EH ? he was butted so many times Tyson lost it. that and frustration. Its a eyesore that boxing allows him to continue with the butts. They need special rules for EH , any head butt with result in a disqualification.

Did you get a load of the judges. Where do they get these people. They looked like they had about as much experience and the three muskateers.
