Here
Two men fell off a cliff Wednesday in San Diego's North County while playing "Pokemon Go," the Encinitas Fire Department confirmed.
San Diego Lifeguards reported that someone had fallen off a cliff at E Street around 1:12 p.m. When the Encinitas Fire Department arrived, they found a man around 80 to 90 feet down the cliff, on the beach.Crews found a second man who was unconscious about 50 feet down the cliff.
Both men were taken to Scripps La Jolla Hospital. :0003

It's not that fun, can be addictive if you are into certain types of "collecting" games.

But it's too main claims to fame are that
1) it's nostalgic for people who are familiar with the Pokemon universe (think 25-30 year olds who were in the prime of their childhood when the original games/cartoons came out)
2) It's someone novel to use the real map of the world around you, and your real movements around to collect things.

It is a fad and will probably fade away soon enough, and people will go back to getting in accidents and falling off cliffs for other dumb reasons.

Carry on.
(btw I'm Team Mystic and Level 7 if anyone else is playing. :wall:)

I hated hearing about friends/coworkers talk about it the first few days, but finally caved in and installed it.
It's not really my style of game (and I am a pretty big gaymer), but I do love how it's getting everyone's panties in a twist.

the Socialist party has railed against it. Muslims are against it. This group and that group thinks its the sign of the apocalypse. Whenever you hear everyone complaining about what "young people" are doing, you can safely assume they are just being grumps.

well at least there is an upside to this latest cartoon..

the 25-30 years olds went outside the house long enough for mom to clean their rooms for the first time in a decade.

aha. in San Francisco 25-30 year olds are making $100k+ a year in the tech industry.
Not me. I'm slightly too old.
