I am currently coaching a Mite 2 youth hockey team and have been involved over the past 4 years as my son loves the game. What I have noticed is that the numbers of youth participating in hockey programs is dwindling. Large mertopolitan areas are not having the problem that rural America is going through. Teams are very small in numbers making it difficult or impossible to field teams in some areas. There are less and less of the home grown American hockey players entering the NHL also.

My question is this, Where will USA Hockey be in the next 10 years?

On another note go to

http://bruins.notchturner.com/contests/voting.aspx?team=2352

and vote for my youth hockey tam to go to the Winter Calssic at Fenway Park on Jan 1st. Please !!!
