The Jace Bugg update

Finished 45th this week in his first tournament as a Buy.com tour member.

Shot a 65 on Sunday to follow his 75 on Saturday. If he works some kinks out, he may be on his way.

Jace started in his 3rd Buy.Com tournament this week (second as a card-carrier) and finished 4th after a rough first round 73--6 strokes off the lead and on the cut line.

This finish keeps him at 5th on the money list at $101,669 (Leader-$117,615 O'Malley).

Could anyone tell me what the rules are on Buy.Com players finishing high on their money list? Is it partial exemption next year? How many get anything? Any information would be great.

I'm pretty sure it's the top-15 on the Buy.com Money List that get PGA Tour cards for next season. However, only the player ranked #1 on the List gets full playing rights.

Jace is projected to miss the cut this week. He is -3 after today. The cut looks to be -5.

A lot of high scores on Sunday for the field (conditions must have been bad). Jace did not have a round under par all week (71-72-72-75--par 71) but managed a 52nd place finish. He stays at 5th ont he money list.

Another high-scoring field on Sunday with Jace shooting 76 to finish T12. Amazingly, Gary Hallberg, the winner of the event, shot a extraordinary -7 (64) to catapult past the rest of the field. The second place finisher shot a Sunday 74 to finish 3 behind. An odd day to say the least.

Jace remains at 5th on the money list.

Jace missed the but by five strokes this slipping to 7th on the money list.
