As detailed in the NFL section, this is a journey of following money management with discipline.

5% of Bankroll of $1020 = $51

Andy Murray -5.5 v. John Isner -130

Risking $51 to win $39.23

I thought Isner would make a good run in this tourney, and he has done that. However, I think the long matches have taken their toll and he will show his fatigue here against Murray. Murray's great return of serve will frustrate him and should win easily.

May the Force be with your picks.

Loss thanks to Murray the mental patient. Looking forward to making some of it back by betting against him in the semis.

Tennis Record: 0-1 -$51

Had a losing day in tennis but won my NCAA football bet.

Federer in vintage form as an underdog. Yeah, I'll bite. Here's to number #17 for the best player any of us will ever see. :toast:

Roger Federer +145

Risking 50.77 to win 73.62

May the Force be with your picks.

Federer needs to retire NOW. He will never, ever win another major. His mental game is completely gone. All he can do now is continue to tarnish his legacy and embarrass himself like he did today.

Tennis Record 0-2 -101.77

Care to elaborate, kickserv? I have not seen him play one mentally tough match in a tough situation when it matters in 2 years. I have always been one of his biggest fans, but you can stick a fork in him.

And you can bank on the fact that he will NEVER win another Grand Slam. NEVER!!! Not unless Djokovic and Nadal both somehow get injured at the same time. They both are FAR AND AWAY more mentally tough than he is now.

Who cares if he doesn't win another major? There is a pretty large gap between never winning another major and needing to retire immediately.

He crushed Tsonga. He went 5 sets with the world's best player (who is 24 years old). He is the third best tennis player on the planet.

You think the people who attended that match today are walking out of there saying "he is tarnishing his legacy" and "embarrassing himself"?

Ridiculous overstatements.

You probably liked watching Jordan with the Wizards too.

jedi

when nadal picks his butt

is that entering the dark side?

:mj07: Absolutely, one of the major reasons that I hate Nadal is that annoying ass butt pick shit. That and the fact that he was Federer's only competition when Federer was still dominant.

jedi, when nadal plays tomorrow

keep track of the number of butt-picks that occur

that is a stat that should come in handy for future handicapping
