Hey, Scott.

Once again, you were right. You should have TITFD on your intuition. Lakers being spanked every which way!

You seem to be saying that alot lately. The part about me being right. Whats up with that ?

This was the game I had to watch and not wager on. Its part of the requirement of doing the homework rule I have for myself.

Thinking outside the box is essential to win in sports wagering. Expecially in the NBA. We have to be able to tie into the emotions and the logic of how the teams will react under certain conditions. Big money to be made when we can do that. I cant begin to tell you how many games I had to watch and follow to be able to call on that homecourt fans respect thing. Playing in the NBA is stressfull when your the Lakers. Better to take one night off and let them keep the hometown fans happy.

It worked. Thats what matters to me. And it has worked many times for me. The money makers stay engrained so that it becomes instinct.

The important Laker/Minn game is the third game on Thursday Thats the one I will have my cash on. I could call it TITFD or just about anything.

Personally I am just going to call it a win.

If you think that players of a visiting team decide to "take it easy on the home team after a win because of their home fans" your completely NUTS.

Yes psychology has something to do with it but not for that reason. It has to do more with the home team stepping up and playing with more emotion and the home crowd coming with more emotion in supporting them as well. Also has to do with the mindset of the winning team in the game before having "accomplished" their goal of winning one on the road.

It also comes down to changes and adjustments. Fact is you win, you feel as if you don't need to change anything...problem is the team that lost is changing many things which leads to surprises and a WIN (like Minny's press tonight).

Gawd damn it, Scott! I think you're going to be right again. :D

By the way, can someone explain to me why the #1 seed in the east is now an underdog to win the series? Just like San Antonio, they lost Game 1. Big freaking deal. Both #1 seeds should still advance. It's a 7-game series.

Give me Detroit +125 to win their first round series. McGrady is talking too much!
