Been a great year, let's close it on a winning note..
Games like this you can throw a lot of the trends and angles out the window as both teams are obviously on a winning trend, both have proven they are more than deserving and this game will prove much of the same. Should be a battle. UConn is big, plays great D and has one of the best players in the biz. Butler is disciplined, forces you into their style of play and plays exceptional D too. Butler has proven they can play with the bigs haven beat some of the best rebounding teams in the country on their way to Houston. My take, Calhoun is nearing the end, this team has really turned it on when they needed to (won 13 of 13 games this year in basically single game elimination type environment - maui, big east and ncaa tourney's) and tonight the nation gets a glance at just how good Kemba Walker is as i think he proves to be too much and the Huskies edge this one out. Taking UCONN, buying it down a point and looking for them to get the win and cut the nets down one last time for coach c. Also took OVER 131 (pissed i did not grab this earlier). UConn rarely placed in the 120s, but they go over in the "supposed-to-be-under" type games. A lot of good scorers on this floor to compliment the good D we keep hearing all about. Sure liked the number at 129', but i still jumped on at 131.
