For all the rules protecting QBs the return has thus far been pretty poor. They’re dropping left and right with two weeks to go in the regular season. O-lines across the league are limping to the finish, and sacks and QB hits are up as a result. I predict that half of all playoff teams will be fielding back-up QBs.
The model has been on an ATS roll, going 32-12-1 the past 3 weeks. I doubt that will last, heading into tanking season. Bad teams will play worse, as both those, as well as playoff bound teams, will begin sitting starters, which makes season team performance numbers fail to show up. Still, enough teams are on verge to make games interesting.
