GAME 1
College Football
Tennessee @ Florida
Saturday Sep 17 - 8:00 PM EDT - (CBS)
Tennessee (+6)
Florida (-6)
First-year Florida coach Urban Meyer gets his first taste of the storied Florida-Tennessee rivalry when his sixth-ranked Gators host the No. 5 Volunteers on Saturday in the Southeastern Conference opener for both teams. The Gators come off a 41-3 win over Louisiana Tech on Saturday night, while the Vols have had two weeks to make adjustments after a lackluster 17-10 victory over UAB on Sept. 3. The performance dropped them two spots in the Top 25. betED is calling the Gators by 6 - let us know if you disagree!

GAME 2
NFL
Kansas City @ Oakland
Sunday Sep 18 - 8:30 PM EDT - (ESPN)
O/U: 54
KC may have one of the most feared rushing attacks in the NFL led by Larry Johnson. His most recent legal woes however may keep him out of the game on Sunday. The Chiefs exploded out of the gates in week 1 with 27-7 whopping of the NY Jets last weekend but celebration was cut short when the team learned that Johnson had turned himself in to police late Tuesday after an altercation he had with his girlfriend early Saturday. It's uncertain at this point whether Johnson's latest problem will result in punishment from the Chiefs or the NFL. Oakland and Kansas City were ranked 30th & 31st respectively in defense last season and this game is expectd to be a high scoring affair. If flamboyant Randy Moss gets in on the action early, it could be a wild one. Get your wagers in on betED's O/U of 54 now!

GAME 3 - MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL DOUBLE HEADER 1
NFL
New Orleans @ NY Giants
Monday Sep 19 - 7:30 PM EDT - (ABC)
Saints (+3)
Despite being drained emotionally from the Hurricane Katrina devastation, the Saints fought hard and beat Carolina 23-20 in opening week action. "In the back of our minds, we know we have to give (our fans) one tiny bit of hope," said New Orleans quarterback Aaron Brooks. "We have complete faith in what we are doing because every time we go out there, it is our job to give them hope that every day will be a better day."
Giants (-3)
Arizona, everyone's hot pick for improvement in 2005, continually challenged the Giants in week 1, but the home team held off the upstarts by coming up with big plays at important times. "It's good that we won, but the offense did not play well," Manning said. "My performance is not OK by me. I've got to play better. I can't turn the ball over like that and give points away."

GAME 4 - MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL DOUBLE HEADER 2
NFL
Washington @ Dallas
Monday Sep 19 - 9:00 PM EDT - (ABC)
Redskins (+6)
Picking up where they left off last season, the Redskins defense was dominant in the season opener. Playing against a rookie quarterback, the Redskins kept the pressure on the Bears, allowing just 166 total yards in a 9?7 win over Chicago. Starting quarterback Patrick Ramsey left the game in the second quarter after taking a big hit and was replaced by Mark Brunell.
Cowboys (-6)
Even with Bledsoe?s vintage performance last week, the game came down to the final seconds when Dallas intercepted a pass in the end zone to preserve the win. "This game was very, very important for us, not only to win it but to win it the way that we did," Bledsoe said. With 226 yards passing, Bledsoe became the 10th player in NFL history with 40,000 yards in the air.
